Hung Vuong University Ho Chi Minh City (DHV) announces receiving applications for additional admission to full-time university level in 2024 according to 3 admission methods:
– Admission is based on the average score of the semester or the entire 12th grade year (multiplied by 3) with a total score of 18 points or higher.
– Using the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam, with the total score of three subjects in the admission combination from 15 points or more, is used for admission consideration.
– Admission based on the results of the HCM City National University's capacity assessment exam with a score of 500 or higher.

Previously, Hung Vuong University, Ho Chi Minh City, announced the 2024 university admission score with 15 points based on high school graduation exam scores and 18 points based on academic records.
Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry (IUH) announced the additional admission round for the 2024 regular university program for Quang Ngai Branch. The additional admission majors include: Business Administration (30 targets), Accounting (25 targets), Information Technology (20 targets), Mechanical Engineering Technology (40 targets), Automotive Engineering Technology (50 targets), Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology (40 targets).
For the additional recruitment round, 2 admission methods are applied, including: admission using the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam and admission using the results of grade 12 transcripts. The admission score threshold for the 2024 high school graduation exam is 17 points for all majors. For the method of considering grade 12 transcripts, it is 19 points for all majors. The deadline for receiving applications is 4:30 p.m. on August 21, 2024.
The Admissions Council of Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance (UEF) announced that it will receive additional admission applications based on 2024 high school transcripts until September 15.
In this admission round, UEF continues to accept applications in two ways: considering grade 12 transcript scores based on a combination of 3 subjects and considering transcript scores based on the total score of 3 semesters (Semester 1, Semester 2 of grade 11 and Semester 1 of grade 12) for 36 majors. The score for receiving applications is from 18 and above for all majors.
University of Economics and Law (UEL) is recruiting additional students for the UK Bachelor's program. Additional majors include: International Business (40 positions) and International Finance (10 positions).
Regarding the admission method, the candidate's profile must meet the following conditions:
– Academic requirements: students have a high school diploma recognized by the Ministry of Education and Training;
– Foreign language entry requirements: students must have at least level 4 English proficiency according to the 6-level foreign language proficiency framework for Vietnam or equivalent recognized by the Ministry of Education and Training.
In 2024, FPT University will consider additional admissions for candidates applying for 6 majors: business administration, information technology, communication technology, English, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese. The quota for this admission round is 500 in Hanoi, 500 in Ho Chi Minh City, 300 in Da Nang, 300 in Binh Dinh, and 300 in Can Tho.
To apply to FPT University in 2024, candidates can use one of the following methods:
Method 1: consider the results of high school student rankings in 2024 (certified on the website https://SchoolRank.fpt.edu.vn). The admission condition is to achieve a Top 50 ranking according to the high school transcript in 2024 (certified on the website http://SchoolRank.fpt.edu.vn).
Method 2: consider the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam. The condition is to achieve 21 points according to the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam according to a combination of mathematics and any 2 subjects (in the subjects of literature, foreign language, physics, chemistry, biology, history, geography, civics).
Method 3: Direct admission according to one of the following criteria: - Candidates eligible for direct admission in the 2024 university and college admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training;
– Having one of the following certificates will be directly admitted to language majors: TOEFL iBT English certificate from 80 or IELTS (academic) from 6.0 or VSTEP level 4 or equivalent, JLPT Japanese certificate from N3 or higher; TOPIK Korean certificate level 4 in TOPIK II exam, HSK Chinese certificate from level 4 or higher;
- Graduated from high school with a diploma issued by a foreign country;
– Graduated from one of the following programs: APTECH HDSE/ADSE program (for Information Technology major); ARENA ADIM program (for Digital Art Design major); BTEC HND program; FUNiX Software Engineering; Melbourne Polytechnic program;
- University graduate;
– Students returning from overseas universities in the Top 1000 in the 3 most recent rankings: QS, ARWU and THE or schools with 5-star QS Star certification for training quality;
– Graduated from Top 40 College General Program (9+) at FPT Polytechnic; Graduated from Top 40 FPT Polytechnic College.
