Competition for architectural and planning plans for multi-level general schools

Speaking at the Examination Council, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thach That district Nguyen Manh Hong said that, based on the objectives of Program No. 06 of the City Party Committee on "Cultural development; improving the quality of human resources; building elegant and civilized Hanoians in the period of 2021-2025", the district determined this to be the key and core task to be implemented in the term 2021-2025.

The project of a multi-level, modern, advanced, high-quality general school in Thach That district is one of the 7 projects under the City Party Committee's program 06 that organized the earliest recruitment exam.

Chairman of the People's Committee of Thach That district Nguyen Manh Hong emphasized that with the goal of building a modern, advanced, high-quality school, the district wishes to choose the best design option, with unique features and creating a highlight for the locality, and at the same time, it is also a premise and source of inspiration for consulting units to have design ideas for projects in other districts.

There were 3 consulting units participating in the competition with 3 competing plans. The units presented their design and planning ideas for a multi-level, modern, advanced, high-quality general school in Thach That district. The competing plans were seriously researched, of high quality, and met the conditions and requirements for the competition as stipulated in the Competition Regulations.

The project is located in Kim Quan commune, with the People's Committee of Thach That district as the investor. The investor's representative is the Thach That district Construction Investment Project Management Board; the capital source is the Hanoi city budget and the Thach That district budget.

The total project area is about 6.3 hectares, of which the school construction planning area is 5.8 hectares; the corridor area and technical infrastructure connection area is 0.5 hectares. The planning index of construction density is not more than 40%; the density of green space, playground, training ground, and internal traffic is not less than 60%.

The maximum building height is 5 floors; the building blocks include a block serving learning with 68 classrooms (20 classes for primary school, 24 classes for secondary school, 24 classes for high school) and 31 subject classrooms; auxiliary items, synchronous equipment, meeting the standards of high-quality schools of Hanoi City. The total investment of the project is more than 692 billion VND.
