Time to announce high school graduation exam scores in 2023

Mr. Huynh Van Chuong - Director of the Department of Quality Management (Ministry of Education and Training) - said that the grading of the 2023 high school graduation exam has been deployed since June 30. According to the plan, the exam scores will be announced on July 18.

According to the Director of the Department of Quality Management, immediately after the exam ended, the marking work was deployed in the localities.

The Ministry of Education and Training continues to direct, guide and strengthen inspection, examination and supervision to ensure good implementation of the stages of exam marking, comparison of exam score data, announcement of exam results, review of exam papers, recognition of high school graduation for candidates and university admission.

The inspection teams of the national examination steering committee and the examination marking inspection teams of the Ministry of Education and Training will inspect the marking work at the examination councils throughout the marking period.

The Ministry of Education and Training requires localities to strictly and seriously implement the process of marking essay exams, marking multiple-choice exams and reviewing exams to ensure compliance with the regulations and instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training, and have cameras to monitor the exam rooms 24/7.

Strengthening the information technology infrastructure to facilitate the announcement of exam results without causing network congestion; at the same time, being ready to support candidates in changing their university and college admission application wishes after exam results are available.

A representative of the Ministry of Education and Training said that the results of the 2023 high school graduation exam will be announced at 8:00 a.m. on July 18.

The units registering for the exam will receive applications for review and make a list of reviewers from July 18 to July 27, organize the review of exam papers (if any) no later than August 5; consider recognition of high school graduation after the review is completed no later than August 12.

For university admission candidates, starting from July 10-30, candidates can register and adjust their admission wishes without limit on the Ministry of Education and Training's system.

Candidates will have 7 days to pay the application fee, from July 31 to August 6, 2023.

Candidates will receive results (standard scores) on August 22 and confirm admission for the first round before 5:00 p.m. on September 6, 2023.

For the health and teacher training sector, the Ministry of Education and Training will announce the input quality assurance threshold on July 25, 2023. From there, schools training in this sector will set the score to receive application documents for admission consideration.

In 2023, the time to register for admission this year is only 20 days (in 2022 it is one month). The time for candidates to know the benchmark score and enroll is also 3 weeks earlier than the September 17 and September 30 milestones of last year.
