Healthy habits

- The pharmaceutical market in our country is constantly growing. Last year, statistics from the Drug Administration (Ministry of Health) showed that the total value of the pharmaceutical market in Vietnam reached about 7 billion USD. By 2026, the average spending per capita on medicine in our country is expected to be 2.12 million VND, one and a half times the spending level in 2021.

- After a series of fake consumer goods cases were exposed, consumers are even more scared about the possibility of fake drugs. Is this really scary?

- Through screening, the rate of counterfeit medicines was recorded as very low, only 0.06% of the total number of samples tested. Consumers' concerns are legitimate, because health and life issues do not spare anyone. However, the increased consumption of medicines shows another aspect of risk to the community.

- What exactly is that?

- If you are healthy, why take medicine? Hospitals have modern equipment but are crowded, only a minority is happy. As for the majority, frequent hospital visits or increased spending on medicine are bad signs for health.

- So how to… be less weak?

- In hospitals, both infectious and non-infectious patients are increasing. From a daily living perspective, the deciding factor for health or illness lies in habits. To be healthy and reduce medical expenses, it is necessary to maintain healthy habits.
