Specifically, on September 21 and 22, Hanoi and surrounding areas will have scattered showers; from the 23rd, there will be no rain, cold at night and in the morning, and in some mountainous areas it will be cold. The lowest temperature will be 22-26 degrees, in some places below 22 degrees; then from the night of October 23 to 29, the temperature will drop to 21-24 degrees, in some places below 19 degrees.

The Northern Delta and Midland Hydrometeorological Station also forecasts that today (October 21), Hanoi will have showers and thunderstorms in some places, some places with heavy rain accompanied by whirlwinds, lightning and strong gusts of wind. Total rainfall in the districts in the North and West of the city is 10-20mm, the center and the South is 15-30mm, some places are higher than 50mm. The weather will be chilly at night and early morning with temperatures ranging from 23-26 degrees; cool at noon and afternoon, with the highest temperature of 27-30 degrees.

Due to the influence of a stronger cold air mass from the afternoon of October 22, Hanoi has scattered showers, strong northeast winds of level 2-3; temperatures drop to cold levels at night and early morning.

In addition, the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting forecasts that in other places in the North in the next 1-2 days, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places; in the East, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, some places will have heavy rain; from the night of October 22 to the morning of October 23, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, some places will have heavy rain; then there will be rain in some places, sunny during the day. The night and morning will be cold, some places in the mountains will be cold.

From the night of October 20 to 22, the area from Thanh Hoa to Quang Ngai will have moderate to heavy rain and scattered thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain with rainfall from 40-90mm, locally over 150mm. Warning of the risk of local heavy rain (>100mm/6 hours).
