Regarding the cyber security incident at the National Credit Information Center (CIC), Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade ( VietinBank ) would like to respectfully inform:
• VietinBank does not enter into the CIC system the following information: Deposit balance and transactions, card number, security code (CVV/CVC) or electronic banking service login information.
• As a leading commercial bank, VietinBank always strictly complies with legal regulations to protect the rights and assets of customers.

For more peace of mind when using the service, VietinBank recommends that you be more careful with impersonation and scam calls, especially:

3 NO ❌
❌ Do not install applications, do not click on links/QR Codes from unknown sources.
❌ Do not provide personal information, password, OTP code, card number, expiration date, CVV/CVC... to anyone.
❌ Do not transfer money before carefully checking and verifying the recipient's information.

5 SHOULD ✅
✅ Always be wary of strange calls/messages asking for information or links.
✅ Only install apps from the App Store or Google Play/CH Play.
✅ Read the information, terms and reviews carefully before installing any app.
✅ Regularly update anti-fraud knowledge on VietinBank website or iPay Mobile application.
✅ When receiving suspicious messages or requests, immediately contact VietinBank (Hotline 1900 558 868) or report to the police for timely support.
