New information on the case of more than 2,000 Gem Sky World plots illegally raising capital

Regarding the Gem Sky World project, in Long Duc commune, Long Thanh district, Dong Nai province, invested by Ha An Real Estate Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company (Ha An Company; a member company of Dat Xanh Group), it illegally mobilized capital and was fined.

The Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Dong Nai province has just issued a document informing about the "fate" of more than 2,305 plots of land belonging to the Gem Sky World project. According to information from the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Dong Nai, recently this unit has inspected the current status of land use, constructed works and issued documents on the conditions for transferring land use rights of the above project.

Gem Sky World project investor raised capital illegally.

The agency said that the technical infrastructure system of the project has been invested in and constructed and inspected and accepted by competent authorities. Regarding social infrastructure and commercial centers, the investor has completed the investment and construction of 11/11 green park items. The primary and secondary school has been completed and put into operation.

As for 3 projects (including 2 kindergartens, 1 medical station) belonging to social infrastructure and 1 commercial center project, the rough construction has been completed. Currently, the projects are completing procedures to put into operation.

Accordingly, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Dong Nai informed that 2,305 land plots of the above project are currently eligible for transfer.

Thus, after being punished for illegal capital mobilization, more than 2,000 plots of land in the above project have become eligible.

Previously, Nguoi Dua Tin Phap Luat reported that the above project has an area of ​​over 92 hectares and was introduced to supply over 4,000 plots of land. However, during the process of not completing the infrastructure and not being permitted by the authorities, the investor, Ha An Company, had documents linking companies (signing brokerage contracts for the Gem Sky World project) with documents of consulting agreements, deposits, real estate brokerage, real estate transaction contracts... with the aim of mobilizing capital to implement the project when the real estate conditions were not met for more than 2,300 plots of land to be put into business.

After a period of time, the decision to impose a penalty was issued, and more than 2,000 plots of land illegally mobilized by the investor of the Gem Sky World project were approved for transfer by the authorities - Photo: KN.

In early October 2023, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province signed Decision No. 2276/QD-XPHC to impose an administrative fine of VND 900 million on Ha An Company. The violation was determined to be illegal capital mobilization for the Gem Sky World Project.
