Reclaiming 5,657.7 m2 of rice-growing land to build a concentrated potted flower growing area

The People's Committee of Dong Ha City, Quang Tri Province has just issued a decision on land acquisition to build a concentrated potted flower growing area in Dong Giang Ward.

Accordingly, the People's Committee of Dong Ha City reclaimed 5,657.7 square meters ^of rice-growing land from 8 households in Quarter 2, Dong Giang Ward to invest in building a concentrated potted flower growing area. The People's Committee of Dong Giang Ward, relevant agencies and units were assigned to carry out procedures to reclaim, receive and manage this land area to carry out investment and construction of the project according to current regulations.

It is known that Dong Ha City currently has about 8 hectares of flower and ornamental plant cultivation, mainly concentrated in An Lac flower village, Dong Giang ward. On average, each year An Lac farmers supply the Tet flower market with about 50,000 pots of various types of flowers.

The investment in building a concentrated potted flower growing area in Dong Giang ward is for Dong Ha city to develop environmentally friendly urban agricultural products with high economic value.
