Hanoi Tax Department said that in the first 6 months of 2023, the city's total budget revenue reached nearly 208,000 billion VND, an increase of 24% over the same period last year and reaching 63.5% of the estimate.
Besides, in 6 months, revenue from businesses, individuals/business households with e-commerce business activities was about 9,649 billion VND.

Of which, revenue from business households and individuals was 130 billion, an increase of 121% over the same period, revenue from enterprises was 9,519 billion, an increase of 158.6% over the same period.
Regarding debt management and tax debt enforcement, Hanoi Tax Department has collected and adjusted tax arrears of VND 5,320 billion, reaching 52.8% of the target for the whole year of 2023.
Regarding value-added tax refund policies, the Hanoi Tax Department said it has issued 622 tax refund decisions, with a total amount of more than VND3,000 billion, an increase of VND583 billion compared to last year.
In addition, 217 pre- and post-VAT refund inspection decisions were carried out. As a result, the amount of non-refundable tax was 97 billion, the amount of tax refunded and fined through inspection was 10 billion.
In the coming time, Hanoi Tax Department will focus all resources, resolutely and synchronously deploy all solutions to manage tax collection, recover tax debts, prevent budget losses, and strive to complete the State budget collection task in 2023 assigned by the Ministry of Finance , General Department of Taxation, People's Council and People's Committee of Hanoi City.
The Hanoi Tax Department will also promptly and effectively implement policies on removing difficulties for enterprises of the Central Government and the City as soon as they are issued to promptly support enterprises to quickly stabilize and restore production and business, create momentum for economic development, nurture and create sustainable revenue sources for the State budget.
Hanoi Tax Department will regularly train and improve the quality of human resources; at the same time, strengthen discipline, order, and raise the sense of responsibility of civil servants in performing public duties. Do a good job of preventing and combating corruption, practicing thrift, and combating waste.
