Prime Minister sends letter of commendation to singer Duc Phuc

'This achievement is not only a great honor for singer Duc Phuc personally but also a common pride for contemporary music and Vietnamese culture,' Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh wrote in a letter praising the Vietnamese singer who won Intervision 2025.

Upon receiving the news that singer Duc Phuc - Vietnam's representative - had won the championship title at the Intervision 2025 international music competition on the evening of September 20 (Russia time), Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh sent a letter of congratulations and commended the artist's great efforts and outstanding achievements.

In the letter, the Prime Minister wrote: We are very pleased to receive the news that singer Duc Phuc - representing Vietnam - has just won the championship title at Intervision 2025 - a prestigious music event, gathering many of the world's top talents in Moscow, Russia.

On behalf of the Government, the Prime Minister warmly congratulated and commended the singer's great efforts and outstanding achievements with a powerful voice and a satisfying performance that breathed life into the song Phu Dong Thien Vuong, inspired by the poem Tre Viet Nam , telling the story of the strength of solidarity, indomitable spirit and aspiration to rise of the Vietnamese people.

"This achievement is not only a great honor for singer Duc Phuc personally but also a common pride of contemporary music and Vietnamese culture," the letter stated.

According to the Prime Minister, Vietnam's participation in Intervision 2025 for the first time after a hiatus of more than 40 years has conveyed a message of solidarity and friendship when "music overcomes all disagreements to unite peoples around the world".

The Prime Minister continued: "We hope and believe that this victory at Intervision 2025 will be a driving force for singer Duc Phuc in particular and the Vietnamese artists in general to continue to promote their talents, constantly create, make positive contributions to the country's music industry and promote Vietnamese culture to the world.

At the same time, it creates a strong source of inspiration for Vietnamese youth to continue to contribute and be creative, contributing the quintessence of Vietnam to the flow of human civilization.

The Prime Minister wished Duc Phuc and the Vietnamese artists good health and energy to devote themselves to serving the public at home and abroad, so that the mark of Vietnam will be loved and engraved in the hearts of audiences around the world.

Intervision 2025 had the participation of representatives from 23 countries, Duc Phuc represented Vietnam to bring home the cup.

Previously, on the evening of September 20 (Russia time), the final round of Intervision 2025 ended with the victory belonging to singer Duc Phuc, representing Vietnam.

According to TASS news agency, Duc Phuc's performance "subtly blended traditional Vietnamese sounds with modern arrangements, creating a great resonance in the hearts of the audience", helping him surpass 22 contestants from other countries to become the champion of Intervision 2025, receiving a crystal trophy and a prize of 30 million Russian rubles (≈360,000 USD).

The event, broadcast live on Channel 1 of Russian Central Television and the VKontakte platform, attracted great media attention with about 190 journalists from 25 countries coming to cover it.

Immediately after the victory, Channel 1 invited Duc Phuc to the station's most watched program, "Psudo govt" (Let them speak). Here, the artist expressed his intention to donate part of his prize money to charity activities in Russia.
