The Prime Minister returned to Hanoi, successfully concluding his working trip to China.

With more than 30 activities, the 3-day working trip to Tianjin and Shanghai, China, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh left a strong impression on both multilateral and bilateral aspects.

According to a special correspondent of the Vietnam News Agency, on the night of June 26, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the Vietnamese delegation arrived at Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi, successfully concluding their working trip to attend the 16th annual Pioneers Meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) and work in China.

With more than 30 activities, the 3-day working trip to the two cities of Tianjin and Shanghai, China, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh left a strong impression on both multilateral and bilateral aspects.

At the 16th WEF Tianjin Conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended the Sessions and related activities. In particular, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh was a special guest of the National Policy Dialogue with the WEF Executive Chairman, and also attended and spoke at the most important and anticipated discussion session at the Conference on “Is the Asian Century Facing Challenges?”

On this occasion, the Prime Minister had bilateral meetings with the WEF Interim President and Executive Chairman, the Prime Minister of Singapore, the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan, the President of Ecuador, the Prime Minister of Senegal; and worked with many leading corporations in the world such as Siemens, Pepsi, Cisco, Foxconn, etc., as well as many experts and scholars to promote cooperation in all fields.

During bilateral activities with China, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh held talks with Chinese Premier Li Qiang; attended the Vietnam-China Business Forum; worked with leaders of major Chinese corporations in the fields of science, technology, infrastructure, and construction; met with the Vietnamese community and students studying in China; and spent time visiting revolutionary historical sites, economic and social establishments, and learning about China's economic development model such as the stock exchange and Pudong Exhibition in Shanghai.

The Prime Minister's working trip brought to the conference a message about the entrepreneurial spirit for a new era, attracting maximum international resources to serve the country's development; at the same time affirming Vietnam's foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, multilateralization, diversification, proactive and comprehensive international integration.

In particular, the working trip is a clear demonstration of the effective implementation of the common perception of the top leaders of the two Parties and countries of Vietnam and China and the spirit of comprehensive strategic partnership and cooperation, community building, and sharing the future of Vietnam and China, which has strategic significance, especially in the context of Vietnam and China celebrating the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations and jointly implementing the year of humanistic exchange./.
