Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh just signed Official Dispatch No. 172 on organizing the Autumn Fair in 2025.
The dispatch stated that, following the success of the National Achievement Exhibition " 80 years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness journey ", to promote domestic market development, stimulate consumption, connect supply and demand, connect supply chains, contributing to achieving the economic growth target of over 8% in 2025, the Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Industry and Trade to preside over and coordinate with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Vingroup, Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC) and ministries, branches and localities to urgently organize the Autumn Fair 2025 in October.
According to the Prime Minister, organizing the Fair will create a channel to promote trade, investment, consumption, economic connection, trade connection, goods, industry, agriculture, services, promote domestic production activities and import and export activities.
To successfully organize the 2025 Autumn Fair at VEC scheduled from October 20 to November 5, the Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Industry and Trade to preside over and closely coordinate with relevant agencies to carefully and thoroughly prepare the conditions for organizing the Fair throughout the entire space at VEC, ensuring practicality, efficiency, economy, security and safety.
The leader noted the need to organize trade connection activities for organizations, businesses, and investors participating in the Fair with domestic and international partners; and encourage businesses to actively introduce and sell products, services, and technologies to consumers through the Fair.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism organizes cultural spaces and activities, commercializes cultural products, promotes culinary culture, traditional Ao Dai, tourism, programs to promote cultural industry, entertainment industry and organizes other cultural events during the Fair.
The Ministry of Finance is requested to preside over and coordinate with the Ministry of Industry and Trade to guide and arrange funding to organize the Fair in accordance with legal regulations, ensuring savings, safety, health and efficiency.
Vietnam News Agency, Vietnam Television, Voice of Vietnam and media agencies actively promote information about the Fair to people, businesses and investors at home and abroad.
The Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to direct Vietnamese embassies and representative agencies abroad to widely promote information about the 2025 Autumn Fair to businesses and organizations of the host country; invite businesses and organizations of the host country to participate in the Fair; organize business delegations to exchange, establish relations, cooperate, trade, and connect economically with Vietnam through the Fair.
Ministries, ministerial-level agencies, government agencies, other central agencies, People's Committees of provinces and cities participate in the Fair and mobilize and organize for affiliated and local enterprises to participate in the Fair; widely promote information about the Fair to the business community, organizations, industry associations, etc. in the area and scope of management, ensuring that participating products are rich and diverse, promoting the strengths of each industry, field, locality and region.
Hanoi People's Committee is responsible for coordinating with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Vingroup Corporation in widely communicating to the people; arranging and strengthening public transport routes to serve transportation activities, picking up and dropping off visitors to the Fair; urgently researching to expand sections and traffic routes connecting with VEC.
