Fire fighting plan practice at KET Vina

On August 4 and 5, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department of Thai Nguyen Provincial Police organized a training course on fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue for 80 members of the fire prevention and rescue force of Korea Electric Terminal Vietnam Co., Ltd. (KET Vina), at Diem Thuy Industrial Park, Thai Nguyen province.

During the program, participants were informed of the key contents of the Law on Fire Prevention, Fighting and Rescue (PCCC and CNCH), and new legal documents taking effect from July 1, 2025.

In addition, the Fire Police and Rescue Force also directly trains in escape, rescue and fire-fighting skills suitable to the production conditions of the enterprise; instructs on the use of fire alarm and fire-fighting equipment equipped at the company; practices fire alarm operations and uses on-site fire-fighting equipment.

At the end of the theoretical part, the functional unit coordinated with the Company to organize a fire fighting plan practice, with a hypothetical situation of a fire caused by an electrical short circuit at factory B, with the risk of spreading to the entire production area. The grassroots fire fighting force directly participated in rescuing people, saving property and controlling the fire.

Through the training and practice session, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department has comprehensively evaluated and drawn experience on situation handling skills and on-site force organization. At the same time, it is recommended that the Fire Prevention and Rescue Team continue to advise the Company's leadership to strictly implement the legal regulations on fire prevention and rescue, promote propaganda, raise awareness and fire prevention skills for employees.
