Mr. Nguyen Tri Thuc was born in 1978 in Trieu Phong, a poor rural area of ​​Quang Tri province but famous for its studious spirit. In 2000, after graduating from Da Nang University of Technology with a major in Electrical Engineering, he started his career at Lao Bao 110 kV Transformer Station (Huong Hoa).

Since 2007, he has been working at Quang Tri Hydropower Company and has gradually asserted his position through positions such as Operation Team Leader, Deputy Manager and then Operation Workshop Manager. He has held many different positions and titles, but in every position he has always been dedicated to his work.

What is special about him is his enthusiasm and love for his job, which has helped him to always explore and be creative in his work, constantly improving his techniques and management. Mr. Nguyen Tri Thuc said: "Loving the job is not only the basis for developing other moral qualities but also the motivation for me and my colleagues to constantly strive and complete all tasks excellently." That dedication and enthusiasm has helped Mr. Nguyen Tri Thuc receive many awards from the Company, Power Generation Corporation 2 and Vietnam Electricity Group.

With nearly 25 years of working in the Electricity industry, he has always excellently completed assigned tasks, implemented democratic regulations well, listened to employees' opinions and suggestions, and put collective interests above personal interests.

To his colleagues, he is a talented leader, dedicated to his work, always open-minded, knows how to listen to constructive opinions to build the collective; constantly learning, striving, practicing, being creative, taking work results as the success of the collective to complete all tasks well. As a manager and leader, he always chooses flexible solutions, suitable for each job, mobilizing the maximum creativity of the collective. Taking learning as the center of tasks and training. In achieving the goal, he always ensures safe operation of equipment in the Power Plant.

Mr. Thuc shared: “For me, besides knowledge, the most important thing is to have love for the job, diligence and perseverance. The electrical profession has its own characteristics and is especially dangerous, the hardships are hard to describe in words, but I always try to research, learn, feel excited and passionate about my work without feeling tired”.

As a Union Officer of the Company, he also works in the Occupational Safety and Health sector, directly guiding and supervising the activities of the occupational safety and health network. He cares about the work and life of the staff, asks, shares and sympathizes with those who have economic difficulties or any problems in life.

Creating conditions for the brothers in the Workshop to study and improve their professional qualifications. He always encourages the positions to promote the application of information technology in studying and managing equipment. As the person with the highest responsibility of the Workshop, he not only contributes to improving the quality of learning, innovating teaching methods, and training his employees, but also contributes a lot in changing the appearance of the Workshop, making the factory campus more and more spacious and clean. Each month, he and the Board of Directors and the factory shift leaders proactively build specific plans. Organize and launch emulation movements, sports movements, strive and train among the staff.

On weekends, he works part-time at small hydroelectric plants in his home province to earn extra income and support his family's economy; at the same time, it is also his passion to study and research equipment in other plants and gain experience.

Whatever is good, he shares and conveys it to his colleagues and employees in the workshop so that they can gain more knowledge and experience, with the only wish: "The staff and workers in the unit have a firm grasp of professional knowledge to safely operate technological equipment at the factory to avoid incidents and work accidents," Mr. Thuc shared.
