Create a competitive atmosphere

After being held for the first time in 2023, the Men's and Women's Volleyball Tournament of the Emulation Block of Party Agencies has officially become a playground of interest to cadres, civil servants, and public employees (CBCCVC) of Party agencies.

The tournament has created a positive effect on the development of volleyball movement in party agencies. The most vivid evidence is the increasing number of people playing and practicing this sport, some agencies have invested in building volleyball fields, establishing clubs and teams for everyone to have a regular playground.

In particular, after successfully organizing the first season in 2023, the Party agencies agreed to organize the Men's and Women's Volleyball Tournament of the Party Agencies' Emulation Bloc to become an annual tournament. This meets the expectations of the staff and civil servants to come together for a festival of exchange and exciting competition.

The 2024 Men's and Women's Volleyball Tournament for the Emulation Block of Party Agencies is expected to take place in 2 days, October 4-5, 2024; gathering about 110 male and female athletes from 8 teams: Quang Tri Newspaper, Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee, Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee, Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Le Duan Political School, Provincial Party Committee of Agencies and Enterprises Block, Provincial Party Committee's Office and the joint team of Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee - Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee. The 8 teams are divided into 2 groups A and B, competing in a round-robin to calculate points in 2 groups, then selecting 4 teams with the highest and second highest scores in 2 groups to compete in the semi-finals and finals.

Apply the Laws of Volleyball Competition (applicable to teams with 5 athletes competing on the field, including 3 male athletes and 2 female athletes) issued by the General Department of Sports and Physical Training. Through the tournament, it is aimed at strengthening solidarity, exchanging and learning from each other; improving cultural and spiritual life, creating a useful and healthy playground for civil servants, public employees and workers in the whole sector; contributing to improving health and physical strength for studying, working and working.

During the professional meeting and the competition draw, the Organizing Committee specifically announced the time of the tournament; the organization work was solemn, objective, economical, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere in the spirit of solidarity, fighting against all negative and unsportsmanlike acts; well preparing the material facilities for the competition, security and order work, health care...

At the same time, participating units are required to strictly comply with the laws, regulations and rules of the tournament organizing committee; ensure the safety of team leaders, coaches and athletes throughout the tournament and compete in the spirit of fair and noble sportsmanship, contributing to the audience many good matches.

Invest a lot of time and effort in training

Over the past 3 months, all 8 teams have paid close attention to the preparation for the tournament. Especially, as the official start date of the tournament approaches, the teams have invested more time and effort in training.

Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Quang Tri Newspaper Nguyen Chi Linh said: Quang Tri Newspaper always pays attention and creates the best conditions for staff, editors, and reporters to have many playgrounds and participate in sports tournaments with high results.

In particular, the volleyball department has invested in a volleyball field for training or organizing exchanges and competitions every afternoon. This is the foundation for selecting athletes for the Quang Tri Newspaper volleyball team to participate in the 2024 Men's and Women's Volleyball Tournament of the Party Agencies' Competition Block. The leaders of Quang Tri Newspaper are always close to, encouraging and motivating the team to organize systematic and scientific training.

The Provincial Party Committee's volleyball team is one of the teams considered to be the "seeds" of the tournament. 13 members (6 men, 7 women) have been practicing for quite a long time, especially in the last month according to the coach's own training plan.

Mr. Tran Ngoc Hoai, the team captain, shared: “With the attention of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee, we have spent time practicing seriously. At the same time, the team also participated in friendly matches with volleyball teams in Dong Ha City to re-evaluate the quality of the competition, thereby making timely adjustments in all aspects before the tournament's opening day."

This year's tournament has seen many new athletes participating for the first time. This shows the attraction of the tournament to civil servants and public employees in party agencies. Athlete Ngo Thi Thuy, from the Provincial Party Committee's team of Agencies and Enterprises, shared: "This year, I participated in the Men's and Women's Volleyball Tournament of the Party Agencies as an athlete. In the excitement of participating in the new season, I actively practiced with the Provincial Party Committee's team of Agencies and Enterprises with the highest determination."
