Good news: K+ owns the television rights to the U.23 Asian tournament, including U.23 Vietnam matches

Fans will be able to fully enjoy the 2026 AFC U-23 Championship on channels in Vietnam.

A unit has successfully purchased the broadcasting rights of the U.23 Asian tournament in Vietnam.

Vietnam Satellite Digital Television Company Limited (K+) has reached a copyright agreement with the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) to make K+ the only unit in Vietnam to hold the right to broadcast all matches at the 2026 AFC U-23 Championship – the most important tournament of youth football in the continent, and also the 2028 Olympic qualifiers.

With its strength in broadcasting infrastructure, technical team and experience in organizing sports media, K+ brings sharp HD image experience and vivid sound to fans.

Matches between U.23 Vietnam and strong teams such as Japan, Korea, Saudi Arabia, Iran... will be broadcast live and in full on channels K+SPORT1, K+SPORT2 and K+ application on digital platforms.

The 2026 AFC U-23 Championship will be held in Saudi Arabia from January 1-25, 2026, bringing together the 16 strongest U-23 teams on the continent, including the host team and 15 teams that have just finished the qualifying round: Jordan (Group A), Japan (Group B), Vietnam (Group C), Australia, China (Group D), Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan (Group E), Thailand, Lebanon (Group F), Iraq (Group G), Qatar (Group H), Iran, UAE (Group I), South Korea (Group J), Syria (Group K).

The three teams with the highest results in the tournament will qualify for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

If there is another media unit in Vietnam that needs to broadcast the tournament, K+ will consider it and the parties may negotiate to reach a decision that is beneficial to all parties.
