Organizing the cultural space of Tet of Quang Ninh ethnic groups from January 27 to February 3

The Department of Culture and Sports has just issued a Plan to organize a cultural space for Tet of ethnic groups in Quang Ninh province.

The old Tet space will have the activity of calligraphers giving calligraphy at the beginning of spring.

Accordingly, the ancient Tet space is held from January 27 to February 3 (ie December 28 to January 6), at the Flagpole yard area, Internal road of the Planning Palace, Fair and Exhibition of Quang Ninh province.

The program will recreate the ancient Tet culture of Quang Ninh people through the space of the rural market on Tet, displaying and selling typical traditional Tet products harvested from the labor and production of Quang Ninh people; the typical Tet space of the ancient residents of coastal, rural, mountainous and urban areas associated with the traditional customs of each region with the cultural characteristics of Quang Ninh.

At the same time, in this space, there will be performances of typical folk songs and dances of ethnic groups; instructions on how to play typical folk games for people to participate in ; display and introduce books, spring newspapers; calligraphy paintings, folk paintings about Spring, traditional Tet of the nation; calligraphy activities ; quick portrait sketching; wrapping banh chung; pounding banh giay; picking lucky branches; transforming into traditional costumes...

The space of the old Tet aims to promote good customs and traditions so that the public, especially the young generation, will have a deeper understanding of the traditional Tet holiday. Through that, it contributes to educating and promoting the traditional values ​​of the nation.
