In 2025, Thanh Hoa province was assigned by the Government to select 4,139 citizens to join the army. Of these, 3,652 citizens performed military service, 487 citizens joined the People's Public Security service. Citizens enlisted in the Army were assigned to 14 military reception centers of the Ministry of National Defense. The encouraging thing is that, among the citizens enlisted this time, the number of party members is much higher than in previous years with 839 comrades, accounting for 22.9%; 726 young people attended the party sympathy training class; nearly 700 young people wrote applications to volunteer for the army. The percentage of young people graduating from high school reached 66.8%, the percentage of young people graduating from university, college and vocational school reached nearly 6%; the percentage of young people from ethnic minorities joining the army reached 29.24%.
