The opening performance of the program will be the trio "Nang Xuan" by musician Nguyen Hien, composed from the poem by Kim Tuan. Musician Phuc Truong harmonizes the youthful rhythm with rap to wish spring through the performance of actor Thanh Duy, artist Binh Tinh and actor Huynh Quy. This is the harmony and arrangement that musician Phuc Truong wrote specifically for the 29th Mai Vang Awards ceremony - 2023.
For the first time, the program gathered 3 dance troupes: Moc, Blue Sky, Si Si and the participation of 15 actors from Lac Long Quan Stage.
Choreographer Duong Nam Long will paint a vivid picture honoring artists and singers who have made a beautiful mark in artistic work through music and dance performances. "I want to look forward to 2024 through the message that each artist of the Mai Vang Award joins hands to build a cultural ecosystem of the city named after Uncle Ho, in which each role, each work will create a truly sustainable spring bridge, connecting readers, audiences and the team of artists of an award about to turn 30" - choreographer Duong Nam Long shared.
Singers Dam Vinh Hung, Anh Tu, Orange, and Ha Thuy Anh all expressed their excitement and honor to participate in this meaningful program, marking a turning point in the fields of culture and art, contributing to bringing a fresh spring breeze to the entertainment life of Ho Chi Minh City residents.
The second highlight is the cai luong opera "Kindness around us" (composed and staged by director Thanh Hiep) - honoring two old people who are real characters in the entry for the first "Kindness around us" writing contest organized by Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper in June 2023 - connecting artists who share the same wish to do good deeds, contributing to society to care for the poor such as: People's Artist Le Thuy (once honored as "Artist for life for the community"), People's Artist Minh Vuong, People's Artist Phuong Loan, Meritorious Artist Cong Ninh, Meritorious Artist Trinh Trinh, Meritorious Artist Tu Suong, Meritorious Artist Vo Minh Lam, artist Tu Trinh...

Spread the love
According to general director Thanh Hiep, embedded in a youthful picture of spring with luxurious design, this year's Golden Apricot Awards ceremony will aim to continue spreading love in the community.

The artists participating in the opera "Kindness around us" will express their gratitude to the public and readers for the generosity of people across the country, typically Mr. Hong and Ms. My, in line with the national proverb "The whole leaf covers the torn leaf".
Singer Dam Vinh Hung brings to the 29th Golden Apricot Awards ceremony an atmosphere welcoming the new spring with the song "Spring by your side" (composed by Ricky Martin and Maluma, Vietnamese lyrics by Thanh Hung) and the illustrative performance of the dance group "Step Dance" will bring an artistic space about faith and love in life, optimism in good feelings in the new year. A meaningful activity last year was the "Mai Vang Tri An" program, which further strengthened the lasting value between artists and readers. In 2023, 73 artists, intellectuals, and scientists with many achievements and contributions to society were honored. This year, the Mai Vang Awards ceremony will honor "Artist for the Community in 2023" for singer Den Vau with the MV "Cooking for You".
For all actors, singers, directors, and art producers in the 14 categories of the voting round, the work of the artists honored "For the community" has and will create more positive energy for them to continue to fulfill their responsibilities as artists, in addition to their talent to contribute to life, they also use their virtue to do good deeds, worthy of being public figures.
