Total retail sales of goods and consumer revenue increased by 20.4%

In the first 6 months of 2025, the total retail sales of goods and consumer revenue in Thai Nguyen province is estimated to reach nearly 46.1 trillion VND, up 20.4% over the same period. Of which, retail sales of goods accounted for 70.5%; revenue from accommodation, food, tourism and travel services increased by 25.1% over the same period; revenue from other services increased by 25.2%.

Sales activities on digital platforms contribute to promoting service and trade development in the province.

This result is due to the fact that since the beginning of the year, trade and service activities in the province have been quite vibrant, with abundant supply of goods, many attractive promotions, reasonable prices to serve the shopping needs of people, especially during holidays and Tet, many trade promotion activities and consumer stimulus have been organized to connect supply and demand.

In addition, many solutions for e-commerce development have been implemented, contributing to market expansion and promoting the digital economy .

With the results achieved in the first 6 months of the year, to complete the 2025 plan with the target of reaching 92.2 trillion VND, the retail revenue of goods and consumer services in the last 6 months of 2025 of the whole province needs to reach 46.2 trillion VND, an increase of 12.8% over the same period.

According to calculations, if in the last 6 months of the year, the total retail sales of goods and consumer revenue of the whole province continue to maintain the same value scale as the first 6 months of the year, the whole year plan will be completed.
