Hai Duong City People's Committee has just proposed to the Provincial People's Committee an investment plan for the Project to build a regulating lake and internal traffic road of the park south of Ring Road I (Vo Van Kiet Avenue).

The project has a total estimated investment of more than 338 billion VND from the provincial budget and other legal support sources. The project implementation area is in Tan Hung ward and Gia Xuyen commune (Hai Duong city) with an area of ​​more than 48 hectares, implemented in the period 2024-2027. The project aims to concretize the zoning plan for the area south of Ring Road I, scale 1/2,000 including land use functions such as parks, trees, water surfaces, and urban traffic.

Regarding the scale of investment, the project will carry out excavation and embankment, creating a landscape lake with a water surface area of ​​about 4.98 hectares, building 1.27 km of main traffic roads and 2.65 km of internal roads around the lake. In addition, there will be a green area of ​​about 2.31 hectares and a nursery of 5.15 hectares.

Currently, Hai Duong City only has one Bach Dang park, about 26 hectares wide. Investing in building more green parks is necessary to create a space for recreation and entertainment for the people.
