At the meeting, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Civil Servants' Trade Union Luong Tuan Anh shared that in 2023, the City Civil Servants' Trade Union and its affiliated grassroots unions organized many practical and effective movements, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of women and promoting gender equality.

Specifically: Festival for workers' health with more than 1,200 workers, civil servants, and laborers receiving health check-ups; Sports festival for civil servants, public employees, and laborers in 2023 in the spirit of "Healthy - Safe - Solidarity - Friendship", with more than 2,000 union members participating.

In recent times, Ho Chi Minh City has always taken care of female workers, civil servants and laborers.

In addition, the City Civil Servants' Union also organizes welfare programs for union members such as: selling goods at stable prices, giving gifts to disadvantaged workers, free health check-ups... for female union members and workers.

In 2023, the City Civil Servants' Union will coordinate with the Ho Chi Minh City Civil Servants' Academy and the City Women's Union to organize professional training and skill development for union members and female workers; and training in communication skills and information handling on cyberspace for more than 4,000 female cadres, civil servants, and workers.

On this occasion, the City Civil Servants' Union honored 17 individuals who are Heads of Women's Unions with 10 years or more in charge of women's union work.
