That is the content of the plan to organize the celebration of the 50th anniversary of national reunification and the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh sent by the Department of Culture and Sports to the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.
On the night of April 30, the city will have an artistic fireworks display at 9-9:15 pm, expected at 30 locations on the Saigon River, both sides of the river in Thu Duc City and District 1.
Along with the fireworks display, the city will display 10,500 drones. The organizers are proposing to set a Vietnamese record for the largest number of drones flying at one time. Previously, some provinces and cities displayed more than 4,000 drones.
That evening, the city also had a special program, the National Reunification Day, held at Nguyen Hue walking street, Saigon River area, from Ba Son bridge to Nha Rong wharf, starting at 7 p.m. with many art performances and sports activities on land and in water...
On this occasion, the Department of Culture and Sports proposed many activities such as Ho Chi Minh City Photography Road; Olympic Running Day for Public Health in 2025 with a scale of 4,000 people, and a sports performance with a scale of 1,400 people...
In April, the city also organizes a colorful festival on 3 nights: 19, 26 (Saturday) and 29 (Tuesday), in May there are nights: 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 (Saturday), performance time from 19 - 21:30 on the open stage in front of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, Nguyen Hue walking street, Saigon river (section from Ba Son bridge to Nha Rong wharf). The program will display artistic fireworks and perform flying from 1,000 - 2,000 drones, funded by social sources.
The festival also features symphonic music performances, mapping performances - a technique of using light and images to create 3D effects... Artistic music and dance activities along the Nguyen Hue walking street performance space, on the river there are amateur music performances, flower lantern boat parades, sailboats, jet skiing, Flyboard surfing, paddleboarding and paragliding...
