On November 25, the Department of Transport of Ho Chi Minh City announced the adjustment of traffic organization on Le Loi Street and Nguyen Hue Street (District 1) to serve the organization of the 2024 Teqball World Championship.

Accordingly, to ensure traffic order and safety for the above event, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport announces:

From November 25 to December 9, 2025, vehicles are prohibited from entering the car lane on Le Loi Street (from Nguyen Hue Street to Pasteur Street).

Alternative route: cars travel on mixed lanes on Le Loi Street.

In addition, from 5:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. from December 3 to 6, Ho Chi Minh City will restrict vehicles from traveling on mixed lanes on Le Loi Street (from Nguyen Hue Street to Pasteur Street) and Nguyen Hue Street (from Le Thanh Ton Street to Ton Duc Thang Street), District 1.

Teqball is a ball sport played on a curved table, combining elements of Sepak takraw and table tennis.

The 2024 Teqball World Championship will be held in Ho Chi Minh City in early December with 95 countries and territories participating.

The tournament is organized by the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City in coordination with the Consulate General of Hungary in Ho Chi Minh City and is supported by the World Teqball Federation in terms of expertise and management. According to the plan, the tournament will take place at the competition field cluster installed in Nguyen Hue walking street, Lam Son Park, Ben Bach Dang Park and Tax Trade Center (old) in the central area of ​​District 1.
