In recent days, fog has continuously appeared in the early mornings in Ho Chi Minh City. According to meteorologists, fog is formed due to high humidity, at night the temperature drops so the water vapor condenses. Weak winds cause the suspended particles in the air not to rise high, but to stay at low levels. Therefore, the suspended particles act as nuclei for tiny water vapor particles to adhere to. These particles gradually grow larger to form fog.

Heavy fog indicates poor air quality, with fine dust suspended in the air at low altitudes. Therefore, people should wear masks and sunglasses when going out to protect their health and prevent respiratory diseases caused by fine dust.
