Joining the delegation were comrades: Nguyen Minh Hoang, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Veterans Association.
In Nghe An province, the delegation presented 8 billion VND from the Party Committee, Government and people of Ho Chi Minh City to support people of Nghe An province to overcome difficulties caused by storms and floods.
On behalf of the working delegation, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Truong Thi Bich Hanh expressed her emotion when she was in Nghe An to visit and encourage people after heavy losses caused by storms and floods.
Comrade Truong Thi Bich Hanh shared that during the days of storms and floods, the Party Committee, Government and people of Ho Chi Minh City always followed every news, heartbrokenly thinking about the Central region. The images of roofs blown off, fields flooded, people having to leave their homes to find safe places moved and troubled millions of hearts in Ho Chi Minh City. It was in such difficulties that humanity and sharing shone even brighter. The people of the city named after Uncle Ho, businesses and units contributed to encourage people to firmly overcome the storms and floods.

With special affection and timely support for Nghe An people to overcome the consequences of storms No. 3 and No. 5, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City donated 8 billion VND to help people stabilize their lives.
According to comrade Truong Thi Bich Hanh, along with the funding, the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City have previously directed departments, branches, sectors and socio-political organizations to implement many practical and direct support activities in Nghe An. Typically, the City Health Department has mobilized medical staff and doctors from many specialized hospitals, organized medical examinations, distributed free medicine, provided instructions on disease prevention and donated medical equipment and necessities to the people.

Other departments, branches and organizations have also accompanied people in repairing houses, supporting livelihoods and awarding scholarships to students.
Speaking at the reception, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province Nguyen Dinh Hung expressed his deep gratitude for the affection and attention of the Party Committee, government and people of Ho Chi Minh City for Nghe An.

Comrade Nguyen Dinh Hung also shared about the heavy damage caused by storms No. 3 and No. 5 to the people of Nghe An province, and acknowledged the sharing of agencies, units, and philanthropists, including more than 20 delegations from Ho Chi Minh City who directly came to support.
He affirmed that the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee will promptly transfer support resources to people in affected areas to soon stabilize their lives.

On the same day, the delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City also went to Vinh Loc Ward (Nghe An Province) to give gifts, school supplies, necessities and cash to 32 households and 20 students in especially difficult circumstances affected by natural disasters and floods in Vinh Loc Ward (Nghe An Province). Each gift includes 1.5 million VND in cash and gifts.


The delegation also went to Mrs. Tran Thi Phuong's house to give 60 million VND in support for the family to repair the house that collapsed due to the storm.

Also on September 19, the delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City also came to present 5 billion VND from the Party Committee, Government and people of Ho Chi Minh City to support people in Ha Tinh province to overcome difficulties caused by storms and floods. The delegation also came to present gifts to 52 people and students in difficult circumstances in Ha Tinh province.
