Ho Chi Minh City will organize at least 7 fireworks displays on April 30 this year.

(Dan Tri) - In addition to the 7 fireworks display locations on the occasion of April 30 that have been listed, Ho Chi Minh City continues to mobilize localities and businesses to participate in organizing other display locations in the form of socialization.

At the meeting on the socio -economic situation of Ho Chi Minh City on the afternoon of March 6, Mr. Vo Ho Hoang Vu, Chief of Office of the Department of Culture and Sports (DOC), informed about the activities and events on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). On this occasion, the city plans to organize fireworks displays at 7 locations.

The shooting points are expected to be arranged at the beginning of the Saigon River tunnel (Thu Duc City); the Ben Duoc Martyrs Memorial Temple (Cu Chi District); the Nga Ba Giong Martyrs Memorial Area (Hoc Mon District); the Lang Le - Bau Co relic site (Binh Chanh District); the Can Gio District football field; the National Historical - Cultural Park (Thu Duc City); and the Dam Sen Cultural Park (District 11).

A representative of the Department of Culture and Sports added that, in addition to the 7 planned fireworks display locations mentioned above, the Ho Chi Minh City Command is mobilizing districts, towns and businesses in the area to participate in organizing fireworks display locations in the form of socialization.

The Department of Culture and Sports recognizes that the 50th anniversary of national reunification is a top political event. The culture and sports sector will prioritize and mobilize all its resources with the highest determination to successfully organize the celebration.

The Department of Culture and Sports also proactively coordinated with departments, branches, Thu Duc City, districts and towns to advise the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to consider and direct the organization of emulation activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of national reunification; organize exhibitions, propaganda, cultural, artistic, sports events, etc.

The activities during the festival promise to bring to the city's residents and visitors meaningful activities to educate about the nation's heroic revolutionary traditions, combined with modern performances.
