Awarding scholarships to students |
60 scholarships, each worth 1 million VND, were awarded to disadvantaged students and outstanding students in Vi Xuyen and Bac Quang communes, Tuyen Quang province. The scholarships awarded on this occasion will contribute to giving students more strength to overcome difficulties, excel in their studies, and become useful citizens for the country in the future.
According to Venerable Thich Hue Trong, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Social Affairs Committee, Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Hue City, the scholarship program for poor students who overcome difficulties and excel in their studies is one of the key activities of the Social Affairs Committee, Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Hue City. Up to now, many scholarships have been awarded to students, not only in Hue but also in many other localities in the country. Many students have stable jobs, are confident in their lives and have a bright future.
On this occasion, the working delegation of the Social Affairs Committee, Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Hue City came to light candles to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs at Vi Xuyen National Cemetery and offered a ceremony at the Temple of heroic martyrs of Vi Xuyen Front (former Ha Giang province).
