Speaking at the program, Vice President of the Vietnam Association for the Relief of Disabled Children, President of the Hanoi Association for the Relief of Disabled Children Nguyen Kim Hoang emphasized: For many years, through the Hanoi Association for the Relief of Disabled Children, the DONXA Organization has sponsored the implementation of the Project to support disabled children and orphans in difficult circumstances in the capital, including granting scholarships, giving gifts, supporting surgery costs, post-operative rehabilitation treatment... This organization also carries out many humanitarian relief activities related to health and education for children in many provinces and cities across the country. The gift and scholarship giving for disadvantaged children in Lien Minh commune this time continues the series of activities to support children of the DONXA Organization, through close cooperation with the Hanoi Association for the Relief of Disabled Children and local authorities, to carefully survey the family circumstances, ensuring the support is provided to the right beneficiaries.
Within the framework of the program, 6 children in difficult circumstances in Lien Minh commune (Hanoi) were given gifts by DONXA organization including OMO soap, Neptune cooking oil, Hao Hao instant noodles, seasoning powder, white sugar, especially, DONXA also awarded scholarships with a total value of money and gifts of 25.4 million VND. Along with that, the Hanoi Disabled Children Relief Association also gave gifts from the Association to the children.
In recent times, along with the participation of DONXA, the Hanoi Children's Relief Association has also mobilized resources from many humanitarian organizations, implementing many projects to support disabled children and children in difficult circumstances in Hanoi, including: Project to support disabled children and street children in difficult circumstances with sponsorship from the Blue Dragon Children's Organization (Australia), project to support disabled children and orphans in difficult circumstances with sponsorship from the European-Asian Brotherhood Association (France)... Each year, these projects have supported hundreds of disabled children and children in difficult circumstances, contributing to creating opportunities for disabled children to be cared for and helped in a practical and effective way to integrate into the community.
In addition to major projects, the Hanoi Association for the Relief of Disabled Children also maintains a good work of mobilizing organizations, businesses, and kind individuals in the community to support disabled children in many forms. It is estimated that in the first 6 months of 2025, the Association has mobilized about 2 billion VND in cash and in kind (converted), including 1 billion VND from sponsored projects and nearly 1 billion VND (in cash and in kind) from direct mobilization.
