Awarding prizes for climate change adaptation solutions in the coffee industry

The Coffee Innovation Cluster has just announced the organization of a Competition for innovative solutions to adapt to climate change for the coffee industry with prizes up to 70 million VND/prize.

The Coffee Innovation Cluster (with the participation of coffee farmers, institutes and schools; Department of Agriculture and Environment, Department of Science and Technology; associations, business representatives... in potential coffee growing and production areas of Vietnam) is an initiative within the framework of the Aus4Innovation Program funded by the Australian Government, implemented by the Australian National Science Agency (CSIRO) and Tay Nguyen University.

Contestants are Vietnamese citizens, representatives in the coffee industry value chain nationwide such as: enterprises; cooperatives, cooperative groups; coffee growers; scientists ; experts interested in agriculture and climate change; startups...

The competition field is all innovative solutions (original solutions/ideas, processes, models and technologies) to help the coffee industry effectively adapt to climate change, towards sustainable development and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

The contest has 3 rounds: preliminary, advisory, final. The deadline for submitting entries for the preliminary round is September 10, 2025. Submission address: Office of Science and International Relations, Tay Nguyen University, Ea Kao Ward, Dak Lak Province.

The contest organizers will award 9 prizes (7 main prizes, 2 secondary prizes; prize value from 10 - 70 million VND/prize) and other prizes from sponsors.
