At around 10:30 p.m. on June 19, Phu Son Ward Police coordinated with the Drug Crime Investigation Police Team of the City Police to catch two subjects, Hoang Thi Hong, born in 1994, and Nguyen Thi Oanh, born in 2003, both residing in Phu Son Ward, illegally selling drugs, and seized two ecstasy pills.

Then, at around 11:30 a.m. on June 20, Phu Son Ward Police coordinated with Dong Huong Ward Police and the Drug Crime Investigation Police Team, City Police to catch Dao Van Long, born in 1982, residing on Coc Ha 2 Street, Dong Huong Ward, illegally buying and selling drugs, and seized 1 package of heroin.

Expanding the investigation of the case, the City Police arrested two more couples: Nguyen Thi Dung, born in 1974, and Tran Van Tam, born in 1972, both residing in Coc Ha 2, Dong Huong Ward, for illegal possession of drugs; confiscated 72 packages of heroin.

Faced with the complicated developments of drug crimes, Thanh Hoa City Police warned that the current drug crime situation is very sophisticated, the subjects always find ways to lure and entice young people into drug use, then become dependent and become tools for buying, selling and transporting drugs for them.
