The Immigration Department has advised the Director of Ninh Thuan Provincial Police to issue a decision to administratively sanction these two Chinese people for the act of "crossing the national border (China - Vietnam) without completing exit and entry procedures according to the provisions of law", stipulated in Decree 144/2021/ND-CP, dated December 31, 2021 of the Government . The fine is 4 million VND, the additional penalty is deportation from Vietnam.
On January 13, Ninh Thuan Provincial Police established a working group and coordinated with functional units to deport the two Chinese people mentioned above at Cam Ranh International Airport according to regulations.
