Lam Dong police receive 31 citizens from Cambodia

On August 17, Lam Dong Provincial Police said they had just received 31 Vietnamese citizens deported by Cambodia through Xa Mat international border gate (Tay Ninh) and brought them back to their locality safely.

31 citizens were brought back to the country through Xa Mat border gate.

Previously, the Immigration Department, Lam Dong Provincial Police coordinated with Xa Mat Border Guard Station, Tay Ninh Province to receive 31 more citizens (11 women and 20 men) returned by Cambodian authorities.

Lam Dong Provincial Police have verified the identity, provided medical support and completed the necessary procedures to return the person to his hometown.

Police work with citizens to collect information

At the police station, the citizens admitted to working at the “Casino Hotel Xa Mat” area, about 500 meters from the Xa Mat international border gate. Here, these cases are not allowed to use personal phones and are regularly monitored and controlled by security personnel.

On July 18, while eating in the communal kitchen area, he was arrested by Cambodian authorities and deported to Vietnam through the Xa Mat international border gate.

Bring citizens back to their hometowns

From the above incident, Lam Dong Provincial Police warned people to be vigilant against job offers with unusually high incomes abroad.
