The showroom is a propaganda solution, raising public awareness and demonstrating the determination to fight against counterfeit goods and goods that infringe intellectual property rights.
More than 300 products on display were infringing products inspected and confiscated by market management forces during the peak month of preventing and combating smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and goods infringing intellectual property rights in a number of provinces and cities such as Hanoi , Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Quang Ninh...
Displayed products include: Handbags, leather wallets, shoes, watches, perfumes, cosmetics... with packaging, logos, and labels that infringe intellectual property rights, many of which pose a potential risk to consumers' health.
Among them, many products almost completely imitate the form, design, and identification marks of famous brands, such as Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Dior, YSL, Rolex, Nike, Adidas...
Typically, Hermes handbags, Rolex watches, Hublot, Chanel and Gentle Monster glasses, and Gucci belts were seized by market management forces at Saigon Square Shopping Center (Ho Chi Minh City), tourist streets in Da Nang City, and cosmetics stores in Quang Ninh.
According to Mr. Tran Huu Linh, Director of the Department of Domestic Market Management and Development, organizing a showroom helps management agencies, businesses and people directly identify sophisticated tricks of counterfeit goods and goods that infringe intellectual property rights.
The gallery is open from June 26 through July 3.
