Specifically, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh decided to appoint Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Hien, member of the Party Central Committee and Commander of the Air Defense - Air Force, to hold the position of Deputy Minister of National Defense.

Previously, Tuoi Tre Online reported that the Prime Minister signed a decision to appoint Lieutenant General Nguyen Truong Thang, Commander of Military Region 7, to hold the position of Deputy Minister of National Defense.
