Although U23 Vietnam is rated higher, central defender Pham Ly Duc still respects U23 Singapore.

Ly Duc said: "It's impossible to say anything before the ball rolls, but I always respect all opponents. Singapore has a young squad, but we still need to be extremely careful."

Talking about finishing, missing many opportunities in the opening match against Bangladesh, Ly Duc said the coaching staff had a meeting, learned from experience and encouraged the players to play more confidently in the next matches.

“Of course, if you don't take advantage of the opportunity to score, you can't win,” Ly Duc emphasized.
