TPO - A number of universities in Ho Chi Minh City have just announced their training plans for the 2024-2025 school year along with the 2025 Lunar New Year holiday schedule. Of which, schools will be off for at least 14 days and the longest so far is 28 days.
Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry has just announced to all students and trainees the Lunar New Year holiday schedule from January 20, 2025 (December 21) to February 11, 2025 (January 14).
Thus, students will have a total of 22 days off. If we add the two previous weekends, students at this school will have a total of 24 days off.
Ho Chi Minh City University of Natural Resources and Environment, Van Lang University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technical Education, Ho Chi Minh City University of Banking, Ho Chi Minh City Open University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology... will give students and trainees a Lunar New Year holiday from January 20, 2025 to February 9, 2025. Hoa Sen University plans to give students a Tet holiday from January 22, 2025 to February 5, 2025.
The schools with the least number of Tet holidays up to now are the ones under the National University of Ho Chi Minh City such as the University of Natural Sciences, University of Economics and Law, and University of Technology, which give students 14 days off, lasting from January 27, 2025 to February 9, 2025.
As for the University of Natural Sciences , students will start taking the first semester exam from January 6th and the registration period will be after Tet. Therefore, students can flexibly take a longer break than expected if their study plan is completed early. Combine online learning for an additional 1-2 weeks.
Some other schools are also flexible in allowing students to study online after the Tet holiday. Specifically, at the University of Finance and Marketing, students will have Tet holiday from January 25, 2025 to February 9, 2025. In addition, the school also allows students to study online for 2 consecutive weeks before and after Tet. Similarly, the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City also allows students to have Tet holiday from January 23, 2025 to February 5, 2025 and allows students to study online for 2 consecutive weeks before (from January 16 to January 22) and after Tet (from February 6 to February 12). Thus, students will have a total of 4 weeks off.
Ho Chi Minh City University of Architecture has given students of training courses a three-week Lunar New Year break (from January 20, 2025 to February 9, 2025). In addition, the first week after Tet, the school teaches and studies online, so students can extend their time back home to nearly a month.
Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade is currently the school that gives students the longest Tet holiday in 2025, with 28 days. The holiday period is from January 20, 2025 to February 16, 2025 (ie from December 21, Giap Thin year to January 19, At Ty year).
