On August 29, Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine and An Binh Hospital signed a cooperation agreement in training, scientific research and public health care. According to Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hiep, Principal of Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine, the signing is in line with the school's mission of training highly skilled human resources, scientific research and serving the community. The school's operations are in partnership with the health sector, including the health system of districts and especially first-class hospitals.

This is an opportunity for the school to accompany the health sector; through students, learners towards patients and people to provide the best health services and people to benefit on the basis of effective coordination and exploitation of resources of both sides in the direction of effective use with professional activities in the direction of hospital development.

Currently, Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine has a network of 53 practice facilities and many models and coordination methods to implement practice activities.

For first-class hospitals, the school is very interested in following the Institute - School model (with hospital lecturers concurrently working at the hospital and vice versa, the hospital will concurrently hold school positions) to closely link the activities of the hospital and school in an academic and practical direction, especially in scientific research activities.
