From February 25, customs clearance will be carried out for tourists and border residents at Hoanh Mo

According to the People's Committee of Binh Lieu district, tomorrow (February 25), the People's Committee of Binh Lieu district (Vietnam) and the People's Government of Fangcheng district (China) will organize an entry and exit clearance ceremony for tourists and border residents through the Hoanh Mo (Vietnam) - Dong Trung (China) border gate pair.

The ceremony will take place at the customs clearance management line for tourists at Hoanh Mo - Dong Trung border gate. Those who are allowed to clear customs at Hoanh Mo - Dong Trung border gate include citizens of Vietnam and China (with passports, immigration passes, and border area immigration passes).

Customs clearance time: From Monday to Friday every week; Hanoi time: morning from 8:00 to 9:00, afternoon from 15:00 to 16:00; Beijing time: morning from 9:00 to 10:00, afternoon from 16:00 to 17:00.

The two sides of the Hoanh Mo (Vietnam) - Dong Trung (China) border gate established a mechanism for tourist customs clearance, organized specialized agencies to manage the border gate in turn, assigned specific responsible persons and contact persons, compiled the number of tourists and residents entering and exiting the border gate 20 minutes in advance in the morning and afternoon of working days to notify the other side, to determine the extension of working hours at the border gate when necessary, and conducted friendly consultations to properly resolve problems encountered in the process of cooperation in border management between the two sides, ensuring high customs clearance efficiency for tourists and border residents.

The Hoanh Mo (Vietnam) - Dong Trung (China) bilateral border gate pair was officially opened on June 25, 2024. The implementation of customs clearance for tourists and border residents will promote and continue to make a breakthrough in Binh Lieu's border gate economy , while also making a great contribution to the district's goal of welcoming half a million visitors by 2025.
