Lieutenant General Ha Tho Binh - Commander of Military Region 4 and his delegation visited and presented gifts to people in Dao hamlet, Thu Le 2 village, Quang Phuoc commune, Quang Dien district, Thua Thien Hue province.

According to local government leaders, in recent days, due to the impact of prolonged heavy rain, Dao hamlet, Thu Le 2 village, Quang Phuoc commune has been flooded with very high water levels, roads have been flooded, causing almost complete isolation, many families have had water entering their houses. The entire Dao hamlet has 32 households, with 118 people living in extremely difficult conditions.

At the families visited, Lieutenant General Ha Tho Binh and the working delegation kindly asked about their lives, encouraged their spirits and gave gifts, including rice, instant noodles... to share the hardships and difficulties with the people of Dao hamlet, especially families with meritorious services to the revolution, and single-parent families.

According to forecasts, the flood situation in the coming days will continue to be complicated and unpredictable. The Commander of Military Region 4 requested the Military Command of Thua Thien - Hue province to continue to closely monitor the flood and rain situation, especially low-lying areas and houses heavily affected by the flood and rain, in order to have timely support plans. Lieutenant General Ha Tho Binh requested local government leaders to pay attention to the affected families, regularly visit and encourage them, helping people feel secure in their lives.
