Working week 5 of the 9th session, 15th National Assembly: Discussion on socio-economic issues and question-and-answer activities

Opening the first working day of the 5th working week, 9th session, on June 16, the National Assembly is expected to vote to pass the Resolution of the National Assembly amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution and the Law on Organization of Local Government (amended).

Previously, the National Assembly Standing Committee also passed resolutions on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in 2025. These are very important legal documents, creating a solid legal foundation for the two-level local government apparatus to come into operation from July 1, 2025.

Also this week, the National Assembly will spend nearly two working days (June 17 and 18) discussing in the hall the implementation of the socio -economic development plan and the state budget. The question and answer session will take place from June 19 to the morning of June 20.

In addition, the National Assembly will vote to pass the following bills: Organization of local government (amended); Teachers; Employment (amended); Amendments and supplements to a number of articles of the Law on Advertising; Amendments and supplements to a number of articles of the Law on Enterprises; Resolution of the National Assembly on reducing value added tax; Amendments and supplements to a number of articles of the Law on Credit Institutions...

The National Assembly will also hear presentations, reports and discuss many important draft laws and resolutions, discuss the transition to applying a number of specific mechanisms and policies that have been allowed by the National Assembly to be implemented in a number of localities after restructuring the apparatus and expanding administrative boundaries according to the Party and State's policies; report on investment policies for Quy Nhon - Pleiku expressway construction investment projects; investment policies for Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 construction project; and Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway construction investment project phase 1.
