Commending 45 outstanding young people following Uncle Ho's teachings at the provincial level and 15 teachers as exemplary Youth Union leaders

On the evening of May 10, Dak Lak Provincial Youth Union organized a program to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024), the 134th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh 's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2024), the 55th anniversary of implementing President Ho Chi Minh's Testament (1969 - 2024) and the 120th anniversary of the founding of Dak Lak province (November 22, 1904 - November 22, 2024).

Speaking at the program, comrade H Giang Nie - Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union said: in 2023 and the first quarter of 2024, based on the guidance of the Central Youth Union, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the Standing Committee of the Dak Lak Provincial Youth Union has deployed and thoroughly disseminated to 100% of key Youth Union officials the full-term topics and specific topics of each year; organized cultural and artistic activities, storytelling, and thematic activities on the ideology, morality, and style of President Ho Chi Minh; periodically built traditional education activities "When drinking water, remember its source", "Repaying gratitude". The youth of the whole province maintained and effectively promoted models such as the bookcase "Studying and following Uncle Ho's teachings"; "Diary of following Uncle Ho's teachings"; "Raising piggy banks"; "House of love"; visited, gave gifts and coordinated medical examination and free medicine distribution for policy families, families with meritorious services to the revolution, and people in difficult circumstances...

In 2023, the youth of the whole province mobilized and implemented 703 youth projects, worth 25 billion VND (of which 29 projects were implemented at the provincial level, 201 projects at the district level, and 473 projects at the grassroots level). The whole province had 20,000 students achieving the title of Uncle Ho's Good Children, 24,095 new members were admitted; 6,481 outstanding members were introduced to the Party for consideration (of which 652 were admitted from outstanding members). 15 exemplary models were built in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle; there were 2 examples of advanced youth following Uncle Ho's words at the central level.

According to comrade H' Giang Nie - Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, the youth of 49 ethnic groups in the province need to make efforts, be proactive, actively study and train themselves to become useful citizens, with solid political qualities, pure morality, specialized knowledge and professional capacity, good health, confidence, and courage on the path of self-establishment and career. At the same time, each union member and youth needs to have a plan to fight and train themselves, study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style with the motto "Perception must be correct; content and implementation methods must be suitable for the object and time; methods must be persistent, creative, and continuous; inspection and supervision must be substantial; results must be specific". Studying and following Uncle Ho must become a daily task, learning to understand, understanding to follow, then returning to evaluate to continue learning.

On this occasion, Dak Lak Provincial Youth Union awarded the "For the Young Generation" Medal of the Central Youth Union to 23 individuals with many contributions and dedication in the cause of training and nurturing the young generation of Vietnam; commended 45 examples of advanced youth following Uncle Ho's teachings at the provincial level; Dak Lak Provincial Youth Union Council awarded Certificates of Merit to 15 outstanding teachers and leaders of the 2023 - 2024 school year; commended 18 individuals with excellent works, winning prizes in the Painting Contest with the theme "I am a young soldier of Dien Bien".
