Vietnam futsal team is ready, aiming for maximum points

(NLDO) - At the press conference before the 2026 Asian Futsal Championship qualifying round, Vietnam's futsal representative, coach Diego Giustozzi and captain Duc Hoa, shared.

On September 19, the press conference before the 2026 Asian Futsal Qualifiers - Group E took place at the Linping Sports Complex (Hangzhou, China). The Vietnamese futsal team, represented by coach Diego Giustozzi and captain Pham Duc Hoa, shared about the team's preparation and determination before this important tournament.

Speaking at the press conference, captain Pham Duc Hoa affirmed the team's determination: "We players are all trying our best with the goal of passing the qualifying round with maximum points and the most convincing performances."

Coach Diego Giustozzi emphasized: "We had 3 weeks of training in Vietnam, followed by 10 days of training in Kuwait and China.

I think the whole team is well prepared for this mission."

Evaluating the opponents in the same group including China, Hong Kong (China) and Lebanon, the Argentine coach said that this is a challenging group: "There may be many different opinions about the level of the teams, but in my opinion all three opponents are quality teams. This is certainly not an easy group. The coaching staff always tries to prepare the players with a stable mentality to compete. I believe in my students, we have nothing to worry about."

According to the match schedule, the Vietnamese futsal team will meet Hong Kong (China), host China and Lebanon at the Linping Sport Center Gymnasium.

In the recent training period, friendly matches with strong opponents are expected to help the Vietnamese futsal team become more confident when entering the tournament.
