On the afternoon of September 24, after more than 2 days of serious work, the first Congress of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, closed and completed all contents and programs; opening a new development period with confidence, spirit and strong aspirations to rise up.
The Congress was held at the Tuyen Quang Provincial Convention Center with the participation of 415 official delegates representing 135,787 Party members of the entire Party Committee. The Congress was honored to welcome comrade Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, on behalf of the Politburo and the Secretariat, to attend and give a speech.
The Congress also received a congratulatory flower basket from General Secretary To Lam and the attention and congratulations of leaders of central ministries, branches, Military Region 2 and neighboring provinces.
According to the approved Resolution, the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee determined the general goal in the coming term as: Promoting the tradition of the revolutionary homeland, continuing to improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization and Party members; developing the socio-economy rapidly and sustainably, closely linked with maintaining national defense, security and foreign affairs.
By 2030, Tuyen Quang strives to become a fairly developed, comprehensive, sustainable province with high average income; by 2045, it will be a developed, high-income province in the midland and mountainous region of the North.
The Congress set out 18 main targets, including outstanding goals such as: Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) reaching 170,000 billion VND, GRDP per capita reaching 95 million VND, average growth rate in the 2026-2030 period reaching 10.5%/year, budget revenue reaching 12,000 billion VND, attracting 6 million tourists, forest coverage rate 62.2%.
Poverty households reduce by an average of 3-4%/year; 100% of communes and wards have suitable cultural and sports facilities; trained workers account for 72% or more, of which 30% or more have degrees and certificates.
The Congress agreed on 5 key tasks, 3 breakthroughs and 7 main solutions. In particular, the province focuses on building a clean and strong Party and political system; perfecting a streamlined and efficient organizational apparatus; maximizing potential and advantages, promoting the development of digital economy, green economy, and circular economy; developing tourism into a spearhead economic sector.
The province focuses on training high-quality human resources and strengthening national defense and security in conjunction with expanding foreign affairs activities, building a border of peace, friendship, cooperation and development.
The Congress announced the decisions of the Politburo and the Secretariat on the appointment of the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, the Secretary and Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. Comrade Hau A Lenh, member of the Party Central Committee, was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the new term. The delegation of Tuyen Quang province attending the 14th National Congress of the Party includes 35 official delegates and 4 alternate delegates.
In his closing speech, the Secretary of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee affirmed that the success of the Congress, a particularly important political event, demonstrated the spirit of solidarity, responsibility and intelligence of the entire Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in the province. This is a historical milestone, affirming the political determination and strong aspiration of the province in the new development period.
Comrade Hau A Lenh emphasized that the resolutions and documents passed at the Congress are the crystallization of the wisdom, will and aspirations of the entire Party Committee and people of all ethnic groups in Tuyen Quang province. During the 2020-2025 term, despite facing many difficulties and challenges, the province has achieved many important and comprehensive achievements in all fields; especially the results of streamlining the organizational apparatus to be streamlined and effective, economic growth is quite good, people's lives are improved, political security is stable, and national defense is maintained.
In addition to the achieved results, the Secretary of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee frankly pointed out the limitations such as: Socio-economic development is not commensurate with the potential, the quality of human resources is still low, some areas of state management are not synchronous, security and order in some areas are still potentially complicated. These are issues that the entire Party, government and people need to seriously review and resolutely overcome in the coming time.
Comrade Hau A Lenh called on, immediately after the Congress, Party committees, Party organizations, authorities, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations to urgently and widely propagate the results of the Congress, quickly concretize them with clear and practical action plans and programs to bring the Resolution into life...
“With the leadership of the Party, the consensus of the political system and the support of the people, we believe that Tuyen Quang will gradually affirm its position as a fairly developed province in the region, worthy of the tradition of the revolutionary homeland, the Capital of the Liberated Zone, the Capital of the Resistance War. The success of the Congress is a great source of encouragement, adding new motivation and spirit for the entire Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Tuyen Quang province to unite, innovate, break through, and establish greater achievements in the new era of development of the country,” emphasized the Secretary of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee./.
