According to the plan, the inter-port road is more than 15km long, the starting point of the route connects with the boundary of Ong Keo Industrial Park and the end point connects with the road to Viet Thuan Thanh Port. The representative of the Project Management Board of Area 6 said: In phase 1, the project will build a route of more than 8.8km long, divided into 2 sections: Section 1 is 6.9km long, with 8 lanes; Section 2 is 1.9km long, with 4 lanes. In addition to the road section, the project will also invest in building 5 bridges on the route.
The Inter-port Road Construction Project Phase 1 has a total investment of more than 2.6 trillion VND in Dai Phuoc commune, Dong Nai province.

According to the signed contract, the project has a construction period of 36 months, however, the contractor consortium aims to shorten the construction period to 30 months, completing and putting the project into operation by the end of March 2028.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc said: The first phase of the inter-port road project, when completed, will play a role in connecting the road traffic system of seaport areas, creating favorable conditions for investment and exploitation of the seaport system in Dai Phuoc commune, contributing to the formation of a civilized, modern, and unique riverside urban system, associated with the goal of green and smart development.

This route also creates an opportunity to take advantage of the development of Long Thanh International Airport, which is about to be put into operation in the near future. From there, it will promote the formation of a chain of ports - logistics - industrial parks - riverside urban areas, contributing to the economic breakthrough of Dong Nai, affirming its position in the Southern Key Economic Zone.
In order to complete the project on schedule and ensure quality, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc requested the Project Management Board of Region 6 to direct contractors to mobilize maximum human resources, equipment, and organize construction to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality. At the same time, promote the application of digital transformation in project management, supervision, and acceptance.

The Provincial Land Fund Development Center directed the Nhon Trach Branch of the Land Fund Development Center and the People's Committee of Dai Phuoc Commune to focus on implementing compensation, resettlement support, and site clearance well. Related departments and branches closely coordinated and promptly resolved difficulties regarding materials.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc also thanked the people in the project area for giving up land for the project and hoped that the people would continue to accompany, share, and create conditions for the project to be completed soon.
