The rate of candidates completing procedures to take the 10th grade high school entrance exam is over 998.

On the afternoon of May 31, at 25/25 official exam sites for the 10th grade high school entrance exam for the 2023-2024 school year, 11,714 candidates came to complete exam registration procedures, reaching over 99.8% of the total number of candidates taking the exam; 14 candidates did not come to complete exam registration procedures due to oversleeping.

At the examination sites, the conditions of the invigilators were reviewed; the examination regulations were organized for the invigilators; the general regulations of the examination were agreed upon; the examination records and physical conditions of the examination rooms were checked; the physical facilities and preparation plans for the examination were checked.

From 3:30 p.m., candidates go to the examination room, complete the examination procedures, correct errors (if any); the examination officer announces the examination regulations and schedule; candidates taking the exam for the IT specialized class with the IT subject draw lots to receive computers and test the computers.

At the same time, please note that candidates must be present on time. If they arrive more than 15 minutes late after the test start time signal, they will not be allowed to take the test.

In the 2023-2024 school year 10th grade entrance exam, the province has a total of 11,804 candidates registered for the exam and direct admission, of which 11,728 candidates took the exam and 76 candidates were considered for direct admission according to regulations (including students with disabilities, national award-winning athletes, and very few ethnic minorities). Of which, 10,270 students will be admitted to grade 10 to study at public high schools in the province and Luong Van Tuy Specialized High School.

To ensure the exam takes place safely, seriously, on schedule, fairly and objectively, the Department of Education and Training has arranged 505 exam rooms at 25 official exam sites located at 24 public high schools in the province and Trang An Pedagogical Practice High School; 25 backup exam sites located at secondary schools, Vocational Education - Continuing Education Centers near the official exam sites.

From 7:30 a.m. on June 1, candidates will start taking the Literature exam, lasting 120 minutes; on the afternoon of June 1, they will take the Combined exam (English, Geography and Physics), lasting 90 minutes. On the morning of June 2, they will take the Math exam, lasting 120 minutes; on the afternoon of June 2, they will take the English speaking test. On the morning of June 3, they will take the exam for the specialized subject of Luong Van Tuy High School, lasting 150 minutes.
