Vietnam U17 had a favorable start in their training trip in Japan. In a friendly match yesterday (May 25), coach Hoang Anh Tuan's team beat Keisekan High School team 3-1.

A few days ago, U17 Vietnam ended their tour in Qatar with a 2-0 victory over the host team U17 Qatar. After that, coach Hoang Anh Tuan and his team moved to Japan to continue their training.
Yesterday afternoon (May 25), U17 Vietnam continued to bring positive signals in Japan. We won 3-1 against Keisekan High School team.
For the purpose of exchanging, learning and testing the lineup, the two sides decided to divide the match into 3 rounds, each lasting 30 minutes.
In the first two rounds, U17 Vietnam was the dominant team. Coach Hoang Anh Tuan's team led the opponent by 3 goals.
In the third half, Keisekan High School team pulled one goal back. The match ended with a score of 3-1 in favor of U17 Vietnam.
According to the plan, coach Hoang Anh Tuan and his team will play 3 more friendly matches in Japan against U18 Honda FC (May 28), Tokoha University (May 31) and Shizuoka University (June 2). The whole team will return home on June 5.
The team will have about a week of preparation in Vung Tau before participating in the 2023 AFC U17 Championship in Thailand. Here, we will face U17 India (June 17), U17 Japan (June 20) and U17 Uzbekistan (June 23).
