The Provincial People's Committee has just issued a document requesting provincial departments, branches and sectors; district and commune People's Committees to continue to synchronously, resolutely and effectively implement the directives of the Provincial People's Committee to ensure safe and stable electricity supply for production, business and people's lives, and not to let there be power shortages under any circumstances.

At the same time, strengthen the implementation of electricity saving solutions in the period of 2023 - 2025 and the following years, especially in public lighting, lighting for advertising purposes, outdoor decoration. The Department of Industry and Trade shall preside over and coordinate with the Department of Finance and relevant agencies, units and localities to strengthen the urging and speed up the implementation of power source projects included in the adjusted Power Plan VIII and the Plan for implementing the adjusted Power Plan VIII.

The People's Committee of Ky Anh town presides over and urgently speeds up the progress of compensation, support, resettlement, site clearance for the 220kV Vung Ang Transformer Station project and connection to soon put the project into operation, reducing overload on the regional power grid.

Ha Tinh Power Transmission, Ha Tinh Power Company: increase the on-duty force, closely monitor and supervise the operation of the power grid within the scope of management, especially at key routes, 500kV, 220kV, 110kV lines, areas with high risk of incidents; proactively prepare timely solutions to ensure safe, stable and reliable operation of the power grid, meet technical requirements, ensure safe operation of the power system during the peak period of the dry season; pay attention to prevent incidents caused by extreme weather patterns (rain, wind, storms...) that may occur in the coming time.

Ha Tinh Electricity Company proactively organizes the effective implementation of the Power Supply Plan in case of power shortage or operation in extreme emergency mode in 2025, which was agreed by the Provincial People's Committee in Document No. 1880/UBND-KT ₂ dated April 1, 2025; accelerates the progress of investment projects to build new and renovate medium and low voltage power grids being deployed in 2025 to improve quality and reduce power loss in the distribution grid.

Units managing and operating coal-fired thermal power plants: monitor fuel supply for power generation, ensure no fuel shortage; proactively maintain machinery, reserve spare parts and equipment to ensure best operation, maximum capacity, and minimize incidents during peak times.

Hydropower plant management and operation units: monitor and closely follow the hydrological situation, implement flexible solutions with the goal of optimizing water resources, planning to store water in hydropower reservoirs to the maximum according to the inter-reservoir and single-reservoir operation process, in accordance with the hydrometeorological forecast situation to ensure reserve and maximum power generation capacity during the peak dry season months of 2025; strengthen maintenance, ensure the plant operates at maximum capacity.

Solar power plant management and operation units: increase the ability to exploit, store and accumulate electricity to improve efficiency and power supply capacity, contributing to reducing grid overload during peak hot times.

The Department of Industry and Trade is assigned to preside over, urge, inspect and guide departments, branches, sectors, units, localities and enterprises to implement the above contents to ensure effectiveness, suitability with the actual situation in the province, meeting the electricity needs of the people; promptly report and propose to the Provincial People's Committee on related contents beyond its authority.
