The Provincial People's Committee listened to a report on the implementation of adjustments and supplements to the price list of land types for the period 2020-2024.

According to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment (DONRE), up to now, the unit has hired a consultant to adjust and supplement the land price list for the period 2020-2024 in the province and sent it to relevant departments, branches and localities for comments to serve as a basis for implementing the next procedural steps to soon submit to the Provincial People's Committee for approval. At the same time, in order to implement the direction of the Provincial People's Committee on land finance and land price consultation when the 2024 Land Law comes into effect, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment recommends that the Provincial People's Committee approve the submission of the adjusted land price list without having to hire a consulting unit to soon submit to the competent authority for consideration, decision and timely application according to the prescribed time.

Concluding the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to urgently review and submit a land price list to ensure it is consistent with the actual situation with local land prices. In particular, it is important to clarify the applicable subjects and assess the impact of the land price table coefficient when adjusting to ensure consistency and stability in the implementation of obligations to land users, avoiding legal issues in the future. The Department of Justice is assigned to continue researching and supporting the Department of Natural Resources and Environment on the procedures for developing and promulgating legal documents to be implemented in parallel with the 2024 Land Law.
