At the same time, based on the direction of Dak Nong Provincial Party Committee, Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee, guidance of the Ministry of Information and Communications, and performing assigned functions and tasks, Dak Nong province has built and deployed an operating mechanism to receive, monitor and handle bad and toxic information on cyberspace in Dak Nong province.

Reception and processing focal point

The team to monitor and handle bad and toxic information on cyberspace in Dak Nong province was established by the Provincial People's Committee, assigned the responsibility of being the focal point for receiving and handling bad and toxic information on cyberspace in Dak Nong province.

The team to monitor and handle bad and toxic information on cyberspace in Dak Nong province has 45 members who are representatives of departments, branches, sectors, and district-level People's Committees in the province; the standing unit is located at the Department of Information and Communications of Dak Nong province, headed by the Deputy Director of the Department; the Deputy Head of the Team is a member of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the Provincial Police, the Department Inspectorate, and the Information - Press - Publishing Department with specific assigned tasks. The team operates according to the Regulations issued with Decision No. 155/QD-STTTT dated September 10, 2024 of the Director of the Department of Information and Communications.

Requirements for feedback information (scope of feedback reception)

The team for monitoring and handling bad and toxic information on cyberspace in Dak Nong province only receives and handles: bad and toxic information on cyberspace and the press (fake news, impersonation, false information, distortion, information causing panic among the people...) affecting security, politics, society, industries and fields in Dak Nong province.

The feedback information must ensure full information of individuals, organizations and central and local state administrative agencies when needed to contact: full name of the individual/name of the agency or organization reporting, phone number, email when needed to contact. The feedback information must clearly show the content of the feedback, link, and image of the violation.

How to receive

When detecting fake news (impersonation, false information, distortion...), agencies, organizations and individuals in the province can send fake news notifications (with information and evidence) to the Department of Information and Communications through the following methods:

Order, handling of bad and toxic information:

After receiving information reflecting fake news from agencies, organizations and individuals in the province; the receiving department reviews the content, classifies and processes the received information; for spam/news with incomplete information, the receiving department sends a notification (in an appropriate form) to the person reflecting fake news that the information provided is incomplete or spam; for news that can be verified, it transfers it to relevant agencies and units for verification; after having verified information, if there is sufficient basis to determine that the reflected information is fake news, it will publish it on the Dak Nong Provincial Electronic Information Portal and transfer the information to the competent authority (Police or Inspectorate) according to its authority for handling in accordance with the provisions of law.
